Tradional Hookah & Tobacco has Been Made Electric in the Shisha Pens and E-Cigs!
Shisha Pens are still fairly new but they are becoming as popular as electronic cigarettes, which have also become incredibly popular in a short space of time. The main difference between the two is that E-Shisha has been designed to resemble real shisha, while e cigs were designed to resemble regular cigs, shisha pen are also referred to as Shisha Pens but they are the same thing. One big difference between the two is that E-Shisha Pens are often disposable, whereas e cigs tend to be refillable.
Since E-Shisha Sticks were fashioned from the traditional smoking of Shisha, they tend to produce more smoke than regular e-cigs, as well as producing more flavour and arguably a more realistic smoking sensation. However, unlike traditional shisha there is no tobacco present in E-Shisha Pens so there is no risk of developing dangerous diseases from carcinogens. Perhaps this is why they have become increasingly popular among young people who want to enjoy inhaling and exhaling smoke while they are out having fun, which is prohibited with real Shisha but not E-Shisha Sticks. The fact that they can come in almost any flavour too means people will always find a flavour they like.
E-Shisha Pens are typically disposable but their battery will last for several hours of continued use before expiring, combine this with the vast quantities of smoke-like vapour they release and they are superior to e cigs in that respect. E cigs tend to produce sufficient smoke but it’s nowhere near as potent as E-Shisha Sticks. Although Shisha has no tobacco it can still contain some nicotine, like an e cig, however they normally don’t so this is preferred by many non-smokers. E-Shisha Pens can also come with a variety of flavours that can be easily altered as often as wanted, or until the battery dies if it’s disposable. With e-cigs they are usually meant for refillable and reusable purposes but people tend to use Shisha Pens for a night out or special occasion so there is no need to buy a refillable version, however, there are refillable versions available if people prefer them.
Shisha Pens were the result of real shisha that was smoked through a pipe, but with E-Shisha there is more of a resemblance to the shape of a small stick than a pipe. The sticks tend to be colourful and extravagant looking, which proves popular with young people, including many celebrities. The components between them and e cigs are very similar but as mentioned before most Shisha Pens tend to be disposable, which is probably since lots of non-smokers like them so there’s no need to be reused. Since Shisha Pens can be used by smokers, as well as non-smokers, there are refillable versions available and they are often the preferred option for long term users. Despite the differences between e cigs and E-Shisha they both share many common traits and they are both far healthier than regular tobacco cigarettes so their popularity seems likely to continue.
Preparing your pipe
Its best to clean your pipe straight after using it, that way the smoke in the metal stem doesn’t have time to dry and leave a residue. Plus the last thing you want to be doing when your looking forward to a smoke with your friends is cleaning your pipe. A dry pipe and hose gives a better smoke. Make sure your pipe is clean or you’ll start to get a horrible taste with each smoking session. Use soft brushes to clean the pipe and base bottle.
Fill the glass base so approximately 1 inch of the metal tube is submerged below the water line. The area left above this is where the smoke will mix with air and cool further. Too much water makes it hard to suck the smoke through and leaves little space left for the smoke to mix with air resulting in much stronger smoke. Attach the pipe onto the bottle as above. The metal pipe is not to be confused with the hose, see image above.
To enhance the flavour of the smoke, try mixing cola, lemon juice, orange juice to the water when using the same flavoured tobacco., or some other flavours to compliment it.
Preparing the molasses
Often the juice in the tobacco based molasses can sink to the bottom, give it a good mix before you take any out to put in the clay bowl. That way your not using dry tobacco from the top of the pack. When you open a large pack of tobacco its recommend to put it in an air tight glass container to prevent it drying out, the jar will also make it easier when you mix it.
If you’re new to using a hookah shisha pipe try a small amount of tobacco first to practice getting it right. Place the tobacco into the clay bowl, about 8-10g of tobacco per smoke if you have a large pipe. Break up the tobacco rather than putting it in and covering the holes in the clay bowl fully.
Quick Light – Light the charcoal and wait about 1 minute after it has stopped sparkling before placing it on the foil. If you place the charcoal on too early you’ll be smoking the charcoal fumes before you get any flavour, wait until it has stopped sparkling or smoking. Quick lite brands : Golden Flash, Golden River, Shisha Lite, Belgian Charcoal, Swift Lite.
Natural Charcoal – Natural charcoal is preferred by experienced shisha smokers as it does not contains chemicals which may taint the flavour of the smoke. Natural charcoal takes longer to light but its worth the wait. You can light it on your cooker or using a torch lighter. Wait until it is glowing before placing it on the charcoal. Natural Charcoal brands : Bamboocha, Exotica, Coconara, cocobrico, nakhla.
A hookah is similar in construction chemical wash bottle. It consists of at least four parts:
The Gefäs is called bottle or bowl and often made of glass or acrylic as the Mya Cosmos. It is often decorated or crystal, metal or acrylic. On the Wassergef the smoke column is inserted or screwed.
The smoke column.
It is generally made of metal that has been coated with chrome or brass, and may also be decorated. Some columns of smoke are also made of wood, which, however, may involve the disadvantage that they absorb moisture after a while and thereby begin to smell. Modern Hookahs have besides, a pressure valve at the column of smoke to blow out smoke can. On the column of smoke the pot is set.
The tobacco bowl.
The tobacco bowl (also: pot) is a small Gefeas of clay, glass, pumice stone or metal which has at its bottom holes. In some regions of the pot is also referred to as a hat.
The hose is located on one of the “smoke Connections” at the column of smoke. There are also several shisha smoke connections. The tube of a Shisha often consists of leather, latex, rubber or plastic.
There are many hookah flavors: Demountable pillars of smoke coiling plate, other materials and much more. The size of the composite Shisha is very different. Shisha cafes provide mostly pipes with heights of 60 to 90 centimeters to. Even so-called mini shisha with a height of up to 40 centimeters, are now available.
